Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin met with teachers as part of "Teachers' Room Meetings" at TOKİ Şehit Ömer Faruk Adaş Primary School in Hatay, where he went to attend the opening ceremony of the 2023-2024 school year. 

 

Emphasizing that they gave teachers in the earthquake zone the additional right to relocation upon request and excuse, Minister Tekin noted that they will continue to support teachers with all their means.

 

Reminding that the service rendered points of teachers who continue to work in the provinces affected by the earthquake have been increased, Minister Tekin said that they will use every opportunity for the teachers affected by the disaster without causing any other grievances.

 

Teachers took the floor one by one and expressed their gratitude to Minister Tekin for his great support to teachers working in the earthquake zone right after he took the Ministerial duty. 

 

Evaluations were made regarding the Ministry's general education policies and teachers expressed their ideas, suggestions and expectations.
